Protectors of the Planet - Free Celebration at Muscoot
In our efforts to empower youth to take action with a frame of justice and optimism, the Wolf Conservation Center and Alfred B. DelBello Muscoot Farm, a Westchester County Park, are excited to extend a FREE inspirational event for people of all ages!

Not all heroes wear capes! Come learn about the many heroic acts performed by kids and teenagers as they strive to make the world a better place, for humans and wildlife alike. Visitors will learn about the importance of standing up for the environment and ultimately, their future. Victoria Barrett, plaintiff in Our Children’s Trust climate change lawsuit and Alliance for Climate Education (ACE) Action Fellow, will discuss her experience fighting for human rights and against climate change. Learn how Victoria addresses social and environmental issues in ways that create the most beneficial results – and balances high school at the same time! Local kids and teens will showcase projects they’ve undertaken to save our planet and inspire others to utilize their passion to create change! Various crafts and activities will be provided, as well as a chance to video chat with Faces of the Endangered superstar Bria Neff!
About the speaker
Victoria lives in White Plains, New York and is currently a senior at the Notre Dame School of Manhattan. She is a climate change and human rights activist, and has participated in the ACE Action Fellowship since her sophomore year. She's also a plaintiff in the current Our Children's Trust climate change lawsuit against the federal government for their role in failing to protect the rights of young people in pursuit of life, liberty and property.
