Not all heroes wear capes! Come learn about the many heroic acts performed by kids and teenagers as they strive to make the world a better place, for humans and wildlife alike. Visitors will learn about the importance of standing up for the environment and ultimately, their future. Victoria Barrett, plaintiff in Our Children’s Trust climate change lawsuit and Alliance for Climate Education (ACE) Action Fellow, will discuss her experience fighting for human rights and against climate change. Learn how Victoria addresses social and environmental issues in ways that create the most beneficial results – and balances high school at the same time! Local kids and teens will showcase projects they’ve undertaken to save our planet and inspire others to utilize their passion to create change! Various crafts and activities will be provided, as well as a chance to video chat with Faces of the Endangered superstar Bria Neff!
