Wildlife Services Exposed by Predator Defense

One might imagine that an agency called “Wildlife Services” would take on a supportive role in safeguarding wildlife. Think again. Often dubbed the “Killing Agency,” this branch of the U.S. Department of Agriculture has had hackles raised among members of wildlife conservation communities for years.  It turns out that Wildlife Services has had a terrible impact on a number of families too. Since 2000, the federal agency has fatally trapped/poisoned 1299 dogs by mistake. And with your tax dollars… To learn more about the barbaric, wasteful, and misnamed federal agency which kills over 100,000 native predators and millions of birds each year, please watch Predator Defense’s newest film, EXPOSED.

  1. Shoma Chatterjee says:

It’s barbaric and inhumane to set traps and poison animals.

  2. Kirsty Shirlaw says:

This is shocking you are killers. Will anyone be held responsible of this?

  3. Victoria Cole says:

This just shows how unreliable and useless wildlife services are, yet they blame wolves for daring to eat animals or as a threat to pets – we know who the real threat is – how many animals trapped or destroyed for fur in the name of ‘protecting livestock’ http://howlingforjustice.wordpress.com/take-action-for-wolves/

  4. Yettie Bloodworth says:

Please stop the killing! Safeguard should be your function!

  5. wynand vd westhuizen says:

What a sad story cant believe it

  6. Frances Bonner says:

What stood out to me the most was the stubborn insistence that killing is the only right method and that is how to best satisfy ranchers. One goal can be to work with ranchers to create boundaries that work for them and are acceptable to them over a long period of time that implement alternative territory boundary controls.
Thank you for your bravery in sharing what is truly happening. Every day I substitute teach I find many young people want to work to research, heal, support, and protect animals. I always share the truth, and many students already question practices that harm our animals.
What may work is something like the education reform in which practices were overhauled and people were shifted in order to set practice in the right direction.

  7. Twila Snodgrass says:

This sort of thing has to stop. It is bad when we can’t even trust the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT!!!!! Wild life services my ass. Please have these people prosecuted. SAVE OUR WILDLIFE !!!! Don’t destroy it. Thanks Twila

  8. Rochelle Willis says:

Wildlife Services had better stop their insanity of killing everything living in the woods. The woods is home to animals who belong there. Man does not live in the woods and therefore should keep his freaking ass out of there or at least live in harmony and quit the killing. You are horrible human beings Wildlife Services!!!
