May 15, 2010 - Nile monitor lizards, Burmese pythons, giant cane toads, green iguanas, countless fish, insect, plant and other exotic species are taking over the Everglades. How have these creatures, of Asian, African and South American descent, found their way to Florida? Now that they have arrived they are not only surviving, but also thriving. What has the impact been on this fragile ecosystem? Similar introductions have occurred around the world and are changing the face of the global ecosystem.
