WOLVES FOR KIDS (ages 4-8)

This is the best introduction to wolves for families with young children. Kids learn about the misconceptions and mythology (i.e fairy tales) surrounding wolves, and then learn about wolves as an important part of our natural world- including a visit with the Ambassador wolves-Kaila, Apache, Lukas and Atka. This is an age appropriate program that will also fascinate adults! Program offered all year.

The mission of the Wolf Conservation Center is to educate people about wolves, their relationship to the environment, and the human role in protecting their future.  Each of our education programs begins with a brief power-point presentation in our cozy cabin classroom, followed by an outdoor encounter at the Ambassador Wolf enclosures.  We strive to answer questions as we observe wolf behavior and howl with the wolves.  Program lengths vary but generally run approximately 1.5 hours.
