Apache, now twelve years old, is the alpha male of the Ambassador pack. He is part Arctic and part Canadian/Rocky Mountain gray wolf. As a rambunctious pup, Apache bit Eno (our German Shepherd who helped us raise the ambassador pack) one too many times. Eno grabbed Apache's ear and shook, thus causing an aural hematoma which led Apache's trademark look.
