The Wolf Conservation Center spent a lot of January trying to dig out from the series of snowstorms that hit the area, but our “Year of the Pups” gala held the last week of January was a great success. WCC co-founder and world-renowned concert pianist Helene Grimaud performed, and Richard Gere, at whose restaurant, Bedford Post, the event was held, stopped in, but Atka, our Arctic gray wolf ambassador, did his best to steal the show.
