This is Mexican Gray wolf F837. Her sisters, F838 and F836, were released into their ancestral home in the wilds of Arizona. The Southwest Environmental Center‘s online petition urges U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and New Mexico Senators Udall and Bingaman to release other captive lobos into their rightful place in the wild, but directly into New Mexico. The Center is just a couple hundred short of its goal of one thousand signatures.
