The best way to show “wolf spirit”? By having a wolf as your school mascot! 

Many schools across North America, from well-known NC State University to local elementary schools, feature wolves as their mascots because at their core, wolves embody everything humans strive to be. In fact, there’s a growing movement near the Wolf Conservation Center‘s home base in New York to make the wolf a local school’s mascot.

As Wolf Conservation Center Board President Martha Handler says, “The attributes of wolves align perfectly with sports teams. Wolves are courageous, protective, determined, proud, fair, and noble leaders.”
