(Offsite Event) Coexisting with Local Wildlife at Katonah Library

April 18 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

The Wolf Conservation Center and Westchester County Legislator Erika Pierce are offering a free event for the community to highlight ways to coexist with the various wild animals that share our landscape. We will talk about eastern coyotes, their history and ecology, and what we can do to best coexist with this species and the other wildlife on our trails and in our backyards. There will also be a focus on black bears and bobcats. Attendees will come away with a better understanding of the behavior and benefits of these species and how to empower our community with the tools, information, and resources we require to peacefully coexist with our often misunderstood wild neighbors.

Pre-registration required. Please click here to complete registration.
