Learn to sketch wolves with wildlife and conservation artist Alison Nicholls! Nicholls is a member of Artists For Conservation, the Society of Animal Artists, and the Explorers Club. Her work has been juried into exhibitions in the USA and UK,and she leads Art Safaris in Africa each year for Africa Geographic. During the program, Nicholls will explain some of the special challenges she has faced when sketching wildlife in the field and will talk about how to overcome them, whether you are sketching wolves in Yellowstone or elephants in Africa. Then, with her guidance, you will be able to try your own hand at sketching WCC’s ambassador wolves!

Tea/coffee will be provided. We will be sketching outside, so please bring appropriate clothing for the weather.

Fees:  $80 per person

Alison’s Recommended Supplies
It is bet to use dry materials like pencils, pens, or pastels for this workshop. The aim is to sketch quickly many short sketches to capture movement and the shapes of the wolves.

– 11×14″ sketchbook with at least 20 sheets.
– 2 or 3 pencils (HB, 2B, 4B) plus eraser.
–  (optional) pens, pastels, colored pencils.
