Did You Know?

Wolves are crepuscular, meaning they are most active at dawn and dusk, as opposed to nocturnal (most active at night) or diurnal (most active during the day).

Common Senses: A Sensory Exploration Into How We Perceive the World Around Us

Eleanor paw edit

Enjoy a sensory exploration into how we perceive the world around us compared to how the animals around us may experience it.

Participants will take part in guided activities to explore the 5 senses (see, smell, hear, taste and touch) while discussing how it may be similar or different when compared to the animals they see around the center. Guests will also take a short hike to see Ambassador wolves Alawa, Zephyr, and Nikai. This program was developed for individuals with diverse needs and abilities. Interested individuals must pre-register prior to program day

For more information about registration please contact Reyanne Neal ([email protected]) by April 27th.
