Did You Know?

The parent wolves in a pack are often referred to as the "alpha pair," consisting of an alpha male and alpha female. While "alpha" is still widely used, most scientists prefer to identify the parents of the pack as the breeding pair or simply as the pack parents.

Warriors Path

Wild plant medicine, movement and meditation

The Warriors Path program strengthens connection with ourselves and with the living earth. The martial arts based movement and meditative practices bring us to an empowered and more receptive place from which to engage. When we approach local plant medicine, we work with a few plants at a time to truly develop relationship, an understanding of the energetics and how the plant affects our body and the body of the earth. We learn how to ethically harvest, identify wild plants in season, share herbal infusions (medicinal teas) and make tinctures. You'll come away a with a renewed perspective, empowering tools through movement and meditation and freshly harvested plants from the Conservation Center to tincture or dry for medicinal tea. Before the program, guests will meet and spend time with Ambassador Wolves Atka, Zephyr, Alawa and Nikai. An experience you won’t want to miss. Pre-registration is required.
The Warriors Path Program was developed by Sacred Warrior Founder, Vanessa Chakour
