REINTRODUCTION
WCC-IECL works tirelessly to support the efforts of the US Fish and Wildlife Red Wolf Recovery Team to continue the ongoing recovery efforts in Eastern North Carolina and identify potential reintroduction sites throughout the red wolf’s historical range.
This entails initiatives such as our recent fundraising drive to acquire 15 new radio collars on behalf of the Red Wolf Recovery Team, along with research into the reproductive and ecological dynamics of red wolves and coyotes.
