Virtual Programs for Student Groups
The Wolf Conservation Center is excited to offer distance learning programs to classes, camps, and more. There are two categories of distance programs available:
- Virtual webinar - These live programs are taught by a WCC educator specifically for your students. The educator will present the chosen program (four topics are available) using a distance learning platform such as Zoom, and will answer any questions the students have. A flat rate of $100 is required to reserve one 45-minute program. There is no live footage of wolves.
- Virtual field trip - These live programs are taught by a WCC educator onsite at the WCC. The educator will discuss the history, biology, and ecology of wolves in North America, and will also discuss the WCC's work to save endangered red wolves and Mexican gray wolves. Students will see ambassador wolves Zephyr, Alawa, and Nikai, and the educator will provide various enrichment items for the wolves. A flat rate of $200 is required to reserve one 45-minute program.
Virtual Birthday Parties
These parties are approximately 45 minutes in length and attendees will see the WCC’s ambassador wolves in live time; there’s also the possibility of seeing two red wolves and two Mexican gray wolves! A WCC educator will also be on screen teaching the attendees about the wolves, guiding the children through creating presents for the wolves, and answering any questions they ask.
Reserve a virtual field trip or birthday party by emailing email@example.com! A flat rate of $200 is required to reserve one 45-minute program. Sessions can be taught via Skype or Zoom, or other preferred platform.
Virtual Corporate Retreats
Learn about the importance of teamwork and adapting to constantly-changing environments using wolves as examples! Attendees will enjoy a live session featuring the WCC’s ambassador wolves and a WCC educator; a potential sighting of some of the WCC’s endangered red wolves and Mexican gray wolves is also possible.
For more information, including pricing and availability, please email firstname.lastname@example.org! Sessions can be taught via Skype or Zoom, or other preferred platform.
Ask a Wolf Expert
Eager to ask your most pressing questions about wolves? Reserve one 30-minute session with a WCC educator to pose your questions about wolf behavior, diet, recovery challenges, biology, and more! These sessions are hosted on Zoom and can be recorded upon request. A fee of $50 is required to reserve one session. Email email@example.com to schedule!
This program is ideal for school groups that have questions about wolves but are unable to reserve a webinar or virtual field trip.
