Run Like a Wolf is a virtual challenge to complete 100 miles on foot or 200 miles on a bike throughout the month of August. Participants who choose to register for both challenges will receive $10 off their registration fee! The registration fee is 100% tax-deductible and supports the Wolf Conservation Center. All challengers who successfully complete their mileage for the month will receive a custom wooden medal.
Grab your friends to run, walk, hike, or bike with you – a team of 10 or more will receive a $10 refund on their registration fee.
Equipped with impressive endurance and speed, wolves are known for their ability to cover great distances in the wild. Wolves used to roam freely across North America – with over 250,000 wolves on the landscape, they were unhindered by human-driven threats for thousands of years. By the mid-1900s, wolves had been almost completely eradicated from the landscape by hunting, trapping, poisoning, and habitat loss. Today, we must work together to restore these essential creatures to their rightful place in our landscape, our hearts, and our culture.
The top 6 challengers who complete the most mileage during the month and the first 6 challengers to reach their mile mark in each challenge will receive a top finisher award. These 12 top finishers (6 for the 100 mile on foot challenge and 6 for the 200 mile bike challenge) will be asked to provide proof of their accomplishments from any logging application such as Strava, MapMyRun, RunKeeper, Fitbit, or other. A race representative will reach out for proof of qualification for top finisher awards or GPS files can be uploaded into RunSignUp under the "Results" tab.

Create a peer-to-peer fundraiser asking your friends and family to support your challenge. The top 10 individual fundraisers will win incredible prizes from Osprey. All other fundraisers over $25 will be entered into a raffle for additional Osprey prizes.
