Wine and Wolves
The Wolf Conservation Center’s 12th annual holiday celebration, Wine and Wolves, was held at Le Chateau in South Salem on December 5th and was a night to remember.
The event welcomed over 130 attendees from the community and beyond. Guests spent the night bidding on over 80 silent auction items, trying their luck in the wine grab-bag or raffle, and spending time with family and friends under the sparkling chandeliers of Le Chateau’s Grand Ballroom. The event rounded out the WCC’s 20th anniversary year with a story shared about Hope, the Mexican gray wolf pup born at the WCC in April who was successfully cross-fostered into a wild pack in Arizona in May. Hope’s story inspired the theme of this year’s event: Hope for the Future.
Howls of thanks to our sponsors; Moet Hennessy, Enza Events, Hal Prince Music & Entertainment, Hunt Auctioneers, and Greenway Markets. We are also indebted to a wonderful and dynamic host committee, Martha Handler, Cristina Civetta, Tracy Akram, Jill Prince, and Claudia Neary. Most of all, we extend our thanks to all of the wolf supporters, near and far, who attended or supported Wine and Wolves!
The funds raised at Wine and Wolves will help support the WCC’s mission as we head into the next 20 years of conservation, education, and advocacy.
Thank you to all who attended and supported our 12th annual Wine and Wolves celebration. We hope you enjoyed it! To view the event photos, please visit the following links:
