The Wolf Ride is a cycling journey across northern and central inland Portugal led by Portugal A2Z. The Wolf Ride will be supporting two non-profits equally: the WCC and Rewilding Portugal. Both organizations are at the forefront of environmental conservation, carrying out the same mission in two different parts of the world.

The mountainous regions of northern and central Portugal are some of the last existing territories of the Iberian wolf. Starting out in the wolf region, riders will move through the rugged landscape of the North and pass by unique 12th-century historical villages of the center of Portugal. The journey will finish in the Unesco Duoro Valley with its terraced vineyards and world-class wines. With daily specialized presentations and activities, riders will have the opportunity to learn about local culture, as well as wolf conservation and environmental conservation as a whole.
